Becoming an Associate Member of BSHAA

I’m pleased to share that I have become an Associate Member of BSHAA, the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.
BSHAA is the professional body representing and supporting hearing aid audiologists and the independent hearing care profession. Its work includes championing high standards, promoting professional development and supporting members across the hearing care sector.
Although I am not a clinician, audiology is the sector I work in every day through Audiology Marketing Professionals. Becoming an Associate Member felt like an important step in strengthening that connection and continuing to learn from the profession I support.
Why BSHAA Membership Matters to Me
Good audiology marketing does not happen from the outside looking in.
To support independent audiologists properly, I believe it is important to understand the sector, the organisations that represent it, the pressures practices face and the standards patients rightly expect.
BSHAA Associate Membership is open to people in non-clinical, audiology-related roles or those with an interest in the field of audiology. For me, that reflects exactly where my work sits: supporting hearing care professionals with marketing strategy, visibility, content and communication.
Being part of BSHAA helps me stay closer to the conversations taking place within independent hearing care. It also reinforces my commitment to providing marketing support that is informed, relevant and respectful of the profession.
Supporting Independent Audiologists
My work with independent audiologists is about much more than creating content. It's about helping practices communicate their value clearly, build trust with patients and make more confident decisions about their marketing. Whether I am working on an audiology marketing strategy, reviewing website messaging, creating blog content, planning social media or supporting a campaign, the aim is always to help hearing care businesses grow in a way that feels professional and patient-focused.
Joining BSHAA is another way of showing that commitment.
It matters to me that the marketing advice I give is grounded in the real world of audiology, not generic marketing theory. The more connected I am to the profession, the better I can support the people within it.
A Continued Commitment to Audiology Marketing
Becoming a BSHAA Associate Member is a proud moment for me and for Audiology Marketing Professionals.
It reflects my ongoing commitment to supporting independent hearing care providers with strategic, thoughtful and effective marketing; marketing that helps more people understand the value of good hearing care and feel confident taking the next step.
I’m looking forward to being part of the BSHAA community and continuing to support audiologists across the independent sector.
