Working with Widex - NextGen Audiology Initiative

On 19th December, Josie Hadley had the honour of being part of the very first Widex Next Generation event. This initiative aims to support the 'NextGen' of independent audiologists and to continue the high standard of excellence.

Together with Peter Jones of Audiology Consultancy, Saima Rajasingam of Anglia Ruskin University, and the Widex team, we spent a day discussing topics relevant to the delegates potential personal and professional development. There were many 'aha' moments.

Josie said "Personally, I found trying out Widex PureSound hearing aids for the first time absolutely fascinating and it gave me a real insight into hearing loss. My father has hearing loss and tinnitus and this gave me an appreciation of his world."

We covered the topic of social media in a 90 minute session called "Sound Strategies: Amplifying Your Audiology Practice through Social Media" covering a wide range of topics. Feedback has been very positive and we look forward to continued support for this future proofing industry project.

If you would like to know about the benefits of social media for your independent audiology practice, please take a look at our blog.
